Michael T. Gmoser, Butler County Prosecuting Attorney

My name is Mike Gmoser and I am the elected Butler County Prosecutor. I am a lifelong conservative Republican and maintained a successful trial practice for thirty-seven years. I served as Chief Trial Counsel and Assistant Butler County Prosecuting Attorney for nearly eight years during the 70's and 80's. In 1981, I served as the Prosecuting Attorney by special appointment of the County Commissioners during the absence of the Prosecutor due to health reasons.

I consider my appointed service as co-chair of the Bar Association Certified Ethics and Grievance Committee for eight years and membership for 36 years among the foremost of my prior public service accomplishments.

I am in excellent health and currently hold a FAA medical certificate for the high performance aircraft I fly with seaplane and instrument ratings. Underwater photography, deep sea fishing, astronomy and beekeeping are also high on my list of interests and pastimes.
