Kevin Micomonaco Guilty of Endangering Children

After two hours of deliberation on May 26, 2011, a Butler County jury found twenty-two year old Kevin Micomonaco guilty of two counts of Endangering Children and one count of Assault. Micomonaco’s victims were three young children; a three year old girl, a five year old girl, and a six year old boy. Micomonaco, a Middletown man, physically, mentally and sexually abused the girls over Memorial Day weekend 2010. He assaulted the boy in September 2010. Micomonaco will be sentenced by the Honorable Judge Andrew Nastoff on July 7, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. He faces sixteen and a half years of incarceration.

Prosecutor Gmoser commended the outstanding trial work of Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Jennifer Muench-McElfresh, Chief of his Child Assault Division, as well as the investigative efforts of Detectives Fred Shuemake and Janice Jones of the Middletown Police Department in seeing that justice was done for the children in this case.
