42 year old Monroe man received a maximum sentence of 40 years

(Hamilton, Ohio) Richard Todd Williams, a 42 year old Monroe man received a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison and found to be a sexual predator, when he was sentenced yesterday before Common Pleas Judge Keith Spaeth.

On January 25, 2007, Williams was convicted by a Butler County jury of the Rape of a Child Under Ten, a first degree felony, along with 6 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition, all third degree felonies, for the molestation of two minor children during the time period of February 2003 and May 2005 in Monroe, Ohio.

Prosecutor Piper stated, “This sexual predator earned his 40 years in prison Touching a child sexually is unforgivable. With his criminal record, the Monroe Police Department did us all a favor, but our biggest appreciation has to be to the two young people who courageously came forward to tell the truth.”

Defendant’s priors include: Public Indecency, Attempted Voyeurism, Possession of Cocain, Breaking and Entering, Possession of Criminal Tool, along with numerous non-sexual misdemeanors.
